Prambanan temple, Indonesia

halo teman!

My very first postcard from Indonesia! So great! Thanks a lot Era, I love it 🙂

This postcard shows the Prambanan temple in central Java. These are hinduistic temple buildings. They were built in 850, but no long time after they finished it, they overlet it its breakup. Since 1918 they began to rebuild it again and its not yet finished.

The buildings are forming one of the biggest hinduistic temple complexes in Southeast Asia and 1991 UNESCO recogniced it as World Heritage.

I think just by looking at his single temple – It has to be a masterpiece of art and I can’t imagine how the people did that without modern technology.

I like this card. Hope you do so too. What do you think about it?

I send love!
