Hiroshima Lantern Floating 6th August, Japan

友人こんにちは

I got this card from my friend Akiko from Japan. It shows the annual Lantern Floating in Hiroshima. This Lantern floating is celebrated because of the anniversary of the atomic bombing. They are also having a sombre ceremony to honor the dead and pledges to seek to eliminate nuclear weapons.

I had to be quiet a few second when I received this card. I was a bit sad, but I also like the fact, that no one will ever be forgotten as long as they have this wonderful tradition.

Peace

I send love!
