Galicia, Spain

Hola amigos!

This is a nice card from Spain! Thank you Luis! Luis also added a nice drawing of a frog! I updated it in my gallery ♥

Galicia is an autonomous community in northwest Spain, with the official status of a historic nationality. It comprises the provinces of A Coruña, Lugo,Ourense and Pontevedra, being bordered by Portugal to the south, the Spanish autonomous communities of Castile and León and Asturias to the east, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the north. Galicia has over 1,660 km of coastline, including its offshore islands and islets, among them Cíes Islands, Ons, Sálvora, Cortegada, and—the largest and most populated—A Illa de Arousa.

Did you know?

Santiago de Compostela, the capital city of Galicia, is the final stop on the famous ‘Camino de Santiago’ pilgrimage route through Spain, and the body of St James the Apostle is traditionally believed to be buried here.

I send love!
