Leptis Magna, Libya

مرحبا أصدقاء

My very first card from Libya! Thank you so much Marlies! I love it!

On this card you can see the UNESCO site Leptis Magna in Libya!
Leptis Magna, was a prominent city of the Roman Empire. Its ruins are located in Khoms, Libya, 130 km east of Tripoli, on the coast where the Wadi Lebda meets the sea. The site is one of the most spectacular and unspoiled Roman ruins in the Mediterranean.

Did you know? The solid-green color flag was used by Libya from 1969 till the time Gaddafi was overthrown in 2011. It was the only national flag in the world which had one single color. This is how the flag looks like now: ♦click♦

I send love!
