seastage in Bregenz, Austria

002

Hallo Freunde!

Another card I got from my father and my brother from their trip. This time from Bregenz in Austria.
You might wonder what this building on the card is. Well I had to read the back first  too until I got it.
This is the open air stage for the opera of Mozart: the Magic Flute! It really must be quite an experience to see this opera on this stage!!

Grüzi Freunde!

A nice card from Christian and Florian! Thank you very much so kind of you that you thought of me! Und danke Mami, dass du meine Adresse ins Gepäck gesteckt hast 🙂

Seefeld in Tirol is a municipality of the Innsbruck-Land District in the Austrian state of Tyrol, located about 17 km (11 mi) northwest of Innsbruck. With more than one million overnight stays each year, it is one of the most popular Tyrolean tourist destinations especially for skiing in winter, but also for walking holidays in the summer.

Servas Freunde!

Here goes a nice card from Vienna from my Saskia Honey! Danke kleine Knutschmaus!

Vienna is the capital and the largest city of Austria, and one of the nine states of Austria. Vienna is Austria’s primary city, with a population of about 1.731 million, and is by far the largest city in Austria, as well as its cultural, economic, and political centre. It is the 9th-largest city by population in the European Union. Until the beginning of the 20th century it was the largest German-speaking city in the world, and before the splitting of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in World War I the city had 2 million inhabitants. Vienna is host to many major international organizations, including the United Nations and OPEC. The city lies in the east of Austria and is close to the borders of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. These regions work together in a European Centrope border region. Along with nearby Bratislava, Vienna forms a metropolitan region with 3 million inhabitants. In 2001, the city centre was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I like this card! Especially the Ferries Wheel! In Austria there is a festival during the whole year! It is called “Prater”. I think, that it is just wonderful that you can go to a rollercoaster or to the ferries wheel whenever someone wants to!

Salzburg, Austria

Servas Freunde!

Like I promised my postcard from Salzburg!

Salzburg is really a little town, but so pretty! I really love the old town and the nice little stores. I was there when the “Salzburger Festspiele” took place in Salzburg. Means, that in Salzburg are a lot of Open Air Concerts, most of them are free.

Salzburg is the city where Wolfgang Amadé Mozart was born. You can also see him at the postcard. I like his opera the Magic Flute “die Zauberflöte”  and “die kleine Nachtmusik” It does exist a stamp with the “kleine Nachtmusik” on it. I like this little melody very much!

Instead of the random postcard I decided to put some fotos I took in Salzburg. Hope you like them!

Lake Constance (Bodensee), Austria

Servas Freunde!!

Thank you very, very much Sandra for this extraordinary beautiful postcard. I love it!

The lake Constance is part of three countries: austria, germany and switzerland! I have never been there, but I remember that my dad used to bring us some appels, when he was there for buissness. The best appels I ever ate!

When I watch this postcard I wouldn’t believe, that this is so near to my home. The most beautiful spots are right before your door!

Don’t you just want to walk over this little footbridge and dangle your feet in the fresh water? Wow such an idyll…

What is your favourite spot, which is located just before your door??

🙂
