Óla amigos!
I got this great card from Christelle in Brasil. I sure love the two stamps showing the “sapateiro” and the “costureira” I can not speak portuguese (exept no fallo portuguese –I do not speak portuguese). But using my spansish skills I would translate it to “shoemaker” and “tailor”.They look pretty cute, don’t they?

Corcovado, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil

Ola amigos!

This is a really great card from Brasil!! Thank you Nathan! I always wanted to have such a postcard which is showing the statue of Cristo!

Corcovado, meaning “hunchback” in Portuguese, is a mountain in central Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The 710-metre (2,329 ft) granite peak is located in the Tijuca Forest, a national park. It is sometimes confused with nearby Sugarloaf Mountain.

Corcovado hill lies just west of the city center but is wholly within the city limits and visible from great distances. It is known worldwide for the 38-metre (125 ft) statue of Jesus atop its peak, entitled Cristo Redentor or “Christ the Redeemer”.

Porto Alegre, Brasil

Olá amigos!!

Another postcard 🙂 Thank you very much Natascha!! My first postcard from Brasil  🙂 How exciting!

The first thing what comes up to my mind when I think about Brasil is the fancy carneval in Rio de Janeiro. I love the costumes they have. They are so colorful *.* And Brasil is sooo big. I think Germany isn’t even half the size big 😛

They speak portuguese in Brasil. I heard it’s the most difficult language of all the romanic languages. I would really like to learn, but until now: No fallo portugues xD

What do you think about Brasil? Have you ever been there? 🙂
