Greenland, Denmark

Hej venner!

Here I got a real nice card from Mary Beth! Thank you very much for this great card! And sorry again it took me so long to upload it! I have a lot stuff going on right now 😛

Well, this card is from Greenland! Greenland is a really huge territory and it belongs to Denmark. The bird you can see on the card is called Snow Bunting. A cute little bird, don’t you think?

A very great card and I am happy to have it in my collection ♥

Kronborg castle, Denmark

Hej venner!

Here I got another lovely card from Denmark! Thank you very much Genek!

Kronborg is a castle and star fortress in the town of Helsingør, Denmark. Immortalized as Elsinore in William Shakespeare’s play Hamlet, Kronborg is one of the most importantRenaissance castles in Northern Europe and was added to UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites list on November 30, 2000.

The castle is situated on the extreme northeastern tip of the island of Zealand at the narrowest point of the Øresund, the sound between Denmark and Sweden. In this part, the sound is only 4 km wide, hence the strategic importance of maintaining a coastal fortification at this location commanding one of the few outlets of the Baltic Sea.

♥ I like this card 🙂
