Hello my friends!

I was lucky enough to receive this beautiful card! Thanks to Ramón and Oleg! These two just started their own website and they sell really beautiful postcards of all the lovely places in D.C.
Also, they offer to send postcards on your behalf to friends, soldiers, or even the Congress and the president! This is so cool! Check them out here:

The United States Capitol, often called the Capitol Building or Capitol Hill, is the home of the United States Congress, and the seat of the legislative branch of the U.S. federal government. It sits atop Capitol Hill at the eastern end of the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Though not at the geographic center of the Federal District, the Capitol forms the origin point for the District’s street-numbering system and the District’s four quadrants.

Did you know?

Thomas Jefferson insisted the legislative building be called the “Capitol” rather than “Congress House”. The word “Capitol” comes from Latin and is associated with the Temple of Jupiter Optimus Maximus on Capitoline Hill, one of the seven hills of Rome

Hello friends!

This card reached me through postcardunited! Thank you Nancy! Nancys daughter visited a concert by my favourite band “die ärzte”! Can you believe it? Awesome 😀

Indianapolis is the capital of the U.S. state of Indiana and the seat of Marion County. It is located in the East North Central region of the Midwest, near the confluence of the White River and Fall Creek. The city covers 372 square miles (963.5 km²) and had an estimated population of 848,788 in 2014, making it the largest city in Indiana, second largest in the Midwest, and 14th largest in the U.S.

Nancy tells me to try a tenderloin sandwich if I ever get to Indiana. Has someone tried it yet? I am all curious 😀

Did you know? Indianapolis is the most sexually satisfied city in the country according to “Men’s Health” magazine, closely followed by Fort Wayne.

The Oregon Coast is a region of the U.S. state of Oregon. It runs generally north–south along the Pacific Ocean, forming the western border of the state; the region is bounded to the east by the Oregon Coast Range. The Oregon Coast stretches approximately 584 km from the Columbia River in the north to the California state border in the south. The Oregon Coast is not a specific geological, environmental, or political entity, but instead includes the entire coastline of Oregon, including the Columbia River Estuary.

Reportedly, Oregon has more ghost towns than any other state.
